Age well Physiotherapy
Age Well Physiotherapy helps you stay active and healthy as you get older. Our focus is to improve your balance, strength and mobility while reducing your risk of falls, so you can keep doing the things you enjoy and live independently for longer.
Using physiotherapy interventions including hands-on techniques, joint mobilisation, tissue work and personalised movement programs, we assist older individuals in sustaining their autonomy and assurance in everyday life.
We create customised programs for each individual that consider their specific movement challenges, personal objectives and existing health concerns to provide the most beneficial and targeted support possible.
For mature adults we offer Age Well Classes. These are structured, progressive exercise and strengthening sessions specifically developed for those aged 50 and above, concentrating on developing muscular strength, increasing mobility and refining stability.
Common concerns we address:
Parkinson's Disease management
Balance impairment and fall risk
Arthritic conditions and joint discomfort
Osteoporosis and bone health
Metabolic conditions such as Type 2 Diabetes
Preparation for surgery and rehabilitation following surgery
Age-related movement dysfunction
